OpenTug has announced a strategic collaboration with inland marine transportation provider Blessey Marine Services, Inc. to modernize the company’s voyage invoicing processes.

Under the initiative, Blessey Marine will implement OpenTug’s BargeOS Invoice Intelligence solution. The platform is intended to link operational and financial workflows, allowing invoice processing to be automated while improving billing visibility and financial transparency across Blessey’s customer network.

The implementation will enable Blessey Marine to process voyage costs in near real time. Vendor expenses, operational information and voyage activity will be brought together within a unified billing workflow.
